Midland Motor Club Notes
Midland Motor Club member and Autotest supremo, Sam Johnston had another successful weekend last, obtaining another two strong finishes. On Saturday Sam headed North to the final round of the ANICC Autotest Championship in Ballymoney finishing fourth overall in his Johnston Farm Equipment Mini Special. On Sunday Round Three of the Hewison Autotest Championship took place in The Curragh Camp, Kildare. After a very close battle between Sam, Eamonn Byrne and Eddie Peterson he had another strong fourth place overall. Sam now lies 3rd in the Hewison Championship. The Midland Motor Club AGM takes place on Tuesday the 25th September in the Stags Head, Ballinalee, Co. Longford at 9pm. New members welcome.
