Midland Motor Club Notes
Arigna Night Navigation
The Midland Motor Club held a night navigation on Saturday night last the 17th February. COC for the event was P.J. Cox with Ciaran Dwyer as Asst. COC. This event was a round of the National Championship and proved a very successful one for Midland members Pakie Duffy and Harry Bleakley. They came home first overall with zero penalties. Michael O' Connor and Paul Phelan came home second overall and clinched the National Championship. Third overall and second experts were Raymond and Steven O' Neill with Andy Mackarel and Liam Higgins finishing fourth. PJ and Ciaran would like to thank the residents of the route for their patience and understanding. They would also like to thank the class sponsors; Hillstreet Quarries, Carrick Motor Factors, Gunning Steel Ltd. and Woodsurrounds Builders. PJ and Ciaran wish to add a special word of thanks to all marshalls who helped out on the night, both from the Midland club and neighbouring motor clubs.
